A long time not writing over here. Whatever. I've been having a weird schedule, sleeping during day and trying to focus during night (no success). So, now, before I go to bed, decided to talk to you a little:
It's February, which means this month we prepare the Anniversary issue for El Investigador, in order to release it on March 1st. I've been translating, from here to there, plus housekeeping and working on the job that pays the cigarettes. I'm so stressed, and a few hours ago I realized that I'm not exactly what I'd love to, I haven't wrote stories as I used to, haven't drew, painted, or making layouts... I feel as if I'm loosing a bit of myself. So, in order to dismiss that weird feeling I don't like, decided to take the time to draw something, to learn a little and to write a scene of one old story, so, now, this is what I drew:
Cute, uh? Yeah, again that's me, this time with long hair, since February 2011 my hair has grown, I'm missing go to the sylist to cut my hair again, but have to wait a little more... If I can...
In that pic I look kind of annoyed, I guess; I'm stressed, it's anxiety because of the anniversary of El Investigador, and some more things... Hope everything goes well. And, talking about that, I just haven't had any idea of what to do for the comic strip, it's important but I'm blocked out, so if can't think on anything in the next 24 hours, I'll take the idea of the "Party time" that said the Boss.
P.S.
I'm not feeling the Christmas spirit.... maybe I'm sick.

Editor's Jorunal (Day 4)
So here I am in another post for Editor's Journal. Is Deadline right now and far away I am from my aim to read and correct the submissions, instead I've been having an artistic moment. Tipical, when you have something really important to do is the same moment when your muse calls you to paint a masterpiece. But, hey! I really tried not to pay attention and do my work as editor. I couldn't.
You must know that I have a hidden blog i which use to write some stories I 've been developing since I was in high school (uhhhh!), but for one reason or another I just couldn't finish, and now with El Investigador is more than complicated. However, last week I did a make over to the blog, fixing links and clearing points. So then, I though that since I've been having that big desire of drawing something, I could draw the characters, and well, here is a sample of what I've done recently:
So, that's how it looked like after my "great" technique of ink with a pen. After that I was giving color and still am in that process, because I had some appoinments with new costumers, my job, the magazine and, well, the lack of time has been here, that and the fact that I just can't keep calm because of responsibility.
Obviously those are not the final colors, but when I finish I'll let you take a look. Now I've got to go working on my editor's job, and for that I'll say good bye with a song I used to love when I was on high school: Mellow Candle by Weiß Kreuz, from the eponymous animation.

Summary of the last month
Well, someone asked me about my life during this time that I haven updated the blog... the truth is I've been doing a lot of things this last month and have been a chaotic/disastrous time, but also filled with fun.
Summary: Mr. Xpk got married last month so everybody who works on El Investigador had to hurry up in order to finnish everything before our editorial designer took his vacations to go to his honeymoon. After that, I have a freelance work about a book and a dossier which I haven't finished yet and deadline's April 20th. Even with that I took the risk to go on spring vacations to meet with the Boss, it was an incredible trip. Now I'm back and have a lot of paperwork, deadlines coming up around the corner and less time in front of computer. Events in my job are really close and make everything harder, but I think it positive and for sure things will be easier.
However, I'm looking forward to July!

1st Anniversary of El Investigador
Happy first anniversary to "El Investigador" and to all the Merceanries who works a lot every month to reach the deadline without dying.
This is kind of New Year...
I remember that last year was figthing against the Boss, I just didin't want to write anything, word are not exactly the best thing I do, as you've been noticed here, I just can't update too much. Well, in the end I wrote the article about vampires in Sabine and the page of "In The File", and also the thing about Wells Fargo.
I remember that watched a documental on Discovery Channel, February 9th (2011), I just had a very bad year and that day cutted my hair after kind of 10 years letting it go long, it was a big change but also was time to stop crying like a baby, however I saw the entire documental (ok, I must conffes I was a little sleeppy so I watched it again on the internet), in order to write the uchronia "European Assassins arrives to our peaceful Sabine?", for the first issue of the first Retrofuturism themed Magazine in Spanish.
Today, a year ago to have been released that first issue, I thank to my entire past because all that made me become what I am now, all that made me look for role playing games in my country, and that made me find El Cuenta Cuentos (The Tales Teller). He give me his proyect called "Retrofuturism: 1875" and a graphic, kind of a brochure "The Rapido of Sabine", there is where everything begun, there was born the legendary "What if we make a magazine?"

The Flu
Autum. Winter's almost here, and... it happened, yes I have the flu, you know how it feels, headache, bone pain, fever, fatigue and things like that...winter is not helping, either the A/A at one of my part-time jobs.
As you know, the time is still passing by so I've to work, hunting pictures, checking spelling in texts, sorting, packing, trying to draw the "Making of..." comic and to write the review I have to.
But this is not that bad, the flu makes me feel kind of distracted, more than usually, so I have found a lot of things, things that I usually do not see, events, articles, celebrities and step by step I thing about next El Investigador's issues.
By the way, if someone out there wants to contribute with us, just send an e-mail:
A-a-achoooooo! Got to go to sleep...
